Centennial celebration: An old-fashioned family picnic

As they end the year-long festivities of Centennial celebrations, the village of Lynbrook would like to offer our residents an opportunity to join with the community to celebrate an Old Fashioned Picnic on Sunday, August 7, beginning at noon in Greis Memorial Park. You may bring your own picnic baskets filled with goodies, or you may barbecue your hamburgers and hot dogs. There will be games and rides and fun for everyone from children to senior citizens. Residents are asked to fill out a form by August 1 with your name, the nunber of adults and children in your party, and if you will be barbecuing or bringing a picnic basket.
