Arrests
On Jan. 24 at 9 p.m., a Hewlett man was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
On Jan. 25 at 9:50 p.m., a 37-year-old Lynbrook man was arrested and charged with criminal mischief on Leach Street in Lynbrook.
On Jan. 27 at 10:45 p.m., a 22-year-old woman from Cedarhurst was arrested at the LIRR station at Sunrise Highway and Broadway in Lynbrook for an open warrant for littering in public from the Lynbrook village court.
On Jan. 29 at 5:58 p.m., a 57-year-old Woodmere man was arrested and charged with criminal contempt of court at the Bedbathstore.com, 147 Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook.
On. Jan. 29 at 8:50 p.m., a 17-year-old Lynbrook man was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, which occurred on Ocean Avenue in Lynbrook.
On Jan. 29 at 11:35 p.m., a 23-year-old Bronx man was arrested on Vincent Avenue in Lynbrook. According to police, the defendant had an open warrant for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle from the Lynbrook village court.
Criminal mischief
On Jan. 5 at 8:30 a.m., a complainant reports damage to a driver’s side window by an unknown person on Atlantic Avenue in East Rockaway.
Grand larceny
On Jan. 25, credit cards were stolen from Kyung W Ryu Martial Arts Inc., 75 Atlantic Avenue in Lynbrook. According to police, $760 in various charges were made to those cards prior to them being reported stolen.
Between 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 28 and 9 a.m. on Jan. 31, tires and rims valued at $3200 were taken from a 2008 Ford Expedition which was parked at Crown Ford, 420 Merrick Road in Lynbrook.
Between 2:30 p.m. on Jan. 22 and 9:40 a.m. on Jan. 23, a 2008 Ford F150 pickup truck valued at $22,000 was taken from the driveway of a home on Shipherd Avenue in Lynbrook.
