New York Elks Lodge No. 1 members, family and friends welcomed 86 guests for a remembrance ritual for all those connected to the lodge that died in 2020 and this year.

The lodge paid tribute to 47 members who have died over the last two years. Secretary Mark Stuparich read the names of those who were lost, and Esquire Brian Steckler unveiled the names as they were inscribed on a bronze tablet at the lodge.

The Rev. Kevin McCormack from Our Lady of Peace Church served as a guest speaker, and Al Hoffman served as the memorial service chairman, welcoming all those in attendance. Candles of remembrance were lit in honor of the departed.
