Mostly Cloudy Lynbrook firefighter’s son wins scholarship

Christopher Lucchese of Lynbrook was one of 25 Firefighters Association of the State of New York scholarship winners.
Each year, the Association presents 25 college scholarship awards to graduating high school children of volunteer firefighters in New York.
Lucchese is a 2023 graduate of Lynbrook High School and will be attending Virginia Tech in the fall. He is a member of Tally-ho Engine Company 3 of the Lynbrook Fire Department where both his father and older brother, Vincent, are members.
The George J. Buckenmeyer FASNY Volunteer Scholarship is presented for outstanding volunteer community service.
Lucchese is the son of JoEllen and Joe Lucchese of Lynbrook.
