In a good turnout for an uncontested election, Lynbrook's New Vision Party candidates were elected to office. Mayoral candidate and current mayor Bill Hendrick received 856 votes. Alan Beach and Tom Atkinson each got 842 votes in favor.

"It was a good turnout for an uncontested election," said Village Administrator John Giordano. "The large turnout is a mandate of support from residents for Mayor Bill Hendrick and the trustees." He said that he believes the last uncontested election was in 2003 and about 373 people came out to vote.
