Molloy College honors Irene Villacci distinguished alumna

Irene V. Villacci, Esq., was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award, at the 2010 Molloy College Annual Ball at the Garden City Hotel. Molloy College board of trustees and President Dr. Drew Bogner hosted the event.

“It was an overwhelming honor to receive this award from President Bogner and the Board of Trustees,” said Villacci, who is also a Village of East Rockaway trustee. “I am proud of Molloy’s continued commitment to endowing their scholarship funds so that students with great potential but equal financial difficulty, can obtain a competitive education at Molloy and can achieve their career goals. Having been a recipient of a full scholarship to Molloy, I am forever grateful to the college. Molloy has continued its Catholic Dominican tradition of being a contributing citizen to the local community and supporting the growth of Long Island.”
