Lynbrook school, police department partner to collect unwanted medications

On Thursday, December 1, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Lynbrook High School cafeteria, at Union Avenue, the Lynbrook Police Department and Lynbrook High School SADD will sponsor a drug disposal event, "Operation Medicine Cabinet.”
The Police Department will be collecting expired, unused or unwanted medications, which will be disposed of in an environmentally safe manner. Help keep loved ones safe by preventing the ingestion of potentially harmful drugs. All donations will remain anonymous. Needles and liquid medications will not be accepted.
