St. Raymond's sends warmth to soldiers

The children in St. Raymond’s school have been working very hard collecting money and sheets to send to U.S Army Captain Ryan Harmon, pictured at right, and the 134 soldiers in his company serving in Afghanistan.

Pictured above were some of the members of St. Raymond’s Junior Sodality of Our Lady with pastor Fr. Chuck Romano, at right, and principal Sr. Ruthanne Gypalo, left. The Sodality, which includes grades one through eight, participated in a fundraiser “Project Sheet,” which sent multiple boxes filled with sheets to Harmon and his troops.  The children also wrote letters to the soldiers thanking them for their service.
