The Alice-in-Wonderland Follies at Tilles Center

Take the family on a trip of merriment and wonder down the rabbit hole and through the looking glass when New York Theatre Ballet presents Keith Michael’s The Alice-in-Wonderland Follies at Tilles Center, on Saturday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m.

Join Alice on her magical journey through wonderland with the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, and a full cast of memorable characters in this balletic retelling of Lewis Carroll’s beloved “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.”

The high-spirited show, with rapid-fire staging and droll humor, recreates a gala at New York City’s Palace Theater in 1915 celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Lewis Carroll classic. Set in the electric atmosphere of a vaudeville extravaganza, the performance incorporates burlesque, softshoe, acrobatics, ballroom dance, African juba and, of course, classical on-pointe dancing. The show is sure to enchant everyone’s inner child.
