Valley Stream man charged in bat attack
Police say he assaulted two 16-year-olds

Police arrested a Valley Stream man they say beat up two teenagers with a baseball bat two weeks ago in Lynbrook.
John Santos, 20, of Derby Street, is accused of assaulting two 16-year-old males from East Rockaway as they walked on Wright Avenue near Leaman Place on May 15 at 11:30 p.m. Santos was with a group of eight to nine others at the time.
One of the teens was treated for injuries at South Nassau Communities Hospital. The other refused medical attention.
Santos was arrested on May 26 following a police investigation. He was charged with a felony county of second-degree assault and second-degree menacing.
