A school bus traveling along Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont on June 7 hit two parked vehicles — one of which was a black Chrysler — according to witnesses near the turnpike.
The bus belongs to the Veterans Transportation Company Inc., based in Valley Stream. The Herald was unable to obtain a comment from the Veterans Transportation Company about the incident. Nassau County police detectives declined to comment about the accidents, as no arrests were made.
