           Since opening 22 years ago, the objective at Franklin Square Pharmacy has been to help its patrons enjoy healthy lives. Rose believes that customers keep returning because they enjoy the convenience of one-stop shopping. Besides having access to their pharmaceutical and surgical supply needs, they can shop for a host of household necessities, beauty products, and foods, which include household brands and daily delivery of fresh items.

           As an independent pharmacy, the assortment of inventory they offer is astonishing. There are endless categories and pr oducts — greeting cards, magazines, newspapers, school supplies, toys, handbags, hosiery, undergarments and much more. The shop also has Lotto, phone cards, and services for paying phone and utility bills.

           “We specialize in hard-to-get items that pharmacy chain stores cannot secure due to corporate limitation of product assortment as a result of limited square footage needed for highly specialized categories,” said Rose. Basic, moderate and exclusive customized surgical products are offered as well as those for sports-related injuries. They can provide cervical collars, cam walkers, post-operative boots and shoes, thumb spicas, and wrist, back, abdominal, knee and ankle supports. Pediatric surgical supplies are also available.
