The Parkhurst Civic Association held a ceremony to mark its 50-year anniversary and honor longtime active members of the organization on Sept. 25.
Nearly a dozen members of the Parkhurst Civic Association and its board were honored for the organization’s community service by New York State Sen. Todd Kaminsky and Assemblywoman Michaelle Solages.
The mission of the organization, established in 1972, is to “educate, motivate and activate each other to bring about positive changes in our community.”
