Police: Queens man arrested in Elmont with forged credit cards, a skimming device and drugs


Nassau Police's Fifth Squad detectives arrested a man for criminal possession of a forged instrument in Elmont on Monday at 7:54 p.m.

According to detectives, Fifth Precinct police officers responded to a call on Ruby St. for a narcotics violation. Once at scene, officers found Tyrone Warren, 34, of Springfield Gardens, to be in possession of two large plastic bags of marijuana, Oxycodone pills, forged credit cards and a credit card skimming device.

Warren is being charged with third degree criminal possession controlled substance, fourth degree criminal possession controlled substance, two counts of second degree possession forged instrument, fourth degree criminal possession marijuana and fifth degree criminal possession marijuana.  

He was arraigned on Tuesday in First District Court, Hempstead.
