Teenager robbed near Rath Park

A teenager was walking past Rath Park in Franklin Sqaure, when he was assaulted and robbed on Saturday night, police said.

The 15 year-old was with someone he believed to be a friend named “Herm,” when he was approached by four other teenagers between the ages of 15 and 18 at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 20. As they passed each other, the four teenagers began punching and kicking the victim. The friend, “Herm,” joined as well and struck the victim.

The group stole the boy’s backpack, his hat, and $60. The five subjects then fled the scene. Two of the boys in the group were wearing red bandanas and one wore glasses. The victim was uninjured and unable to further describe the subjects, police said.
