Babes In Toyland
Maestro Dino Anagnost and The Little Orchestra Society visit Tilles Center with a contemporary version of the Victor Herbert holiday classic, “Babes in Toyland.” First performed on Broadway in 1903 and adapted for several popular films, “Babes in Toyland,”continues Little Orchestra’s tradition of innovation. In this large-scale production, good triumphs over evil as the the audience visits Toyland, a once grand and glorious toy store located in the heart of the big city that faces the devastating possibility of closure before the holiday season.

First Night And Tree Lighting

View Old Westbury Gardens’ Westbury House all dressed up in its holiday splendor. The house is filled with music, featuring Santa Claus, a tree lighting and refreshments. Get in the spirit of the season, with the Bethel Caroling Choir, which performs at 7:15 and 8:30 p.m. The annual holiday tradition is a festive way to begin the holiday season.

Klezmer And All That Jazz
Experience Klezmer music with a twist, when the band presents Klezmer melodies “from the old country” and an assortment of European and Eastern European folk favorites, with a touch of jazz. The program features a wide variety of music of many countries, from traditional Klezmer to swing tunes, Broadway show tunes, Israeli disco, gypsy, and more.
