Carey golf outing, July 16

The Carey Dads’ Club is now accepting registrations for it’s 13th Annual Golf Outing honoring the memory of Fred Cucciniello and Lorraine Wright. The event will take place on Thursday, July 16, at Eisenhower Park, in East Meadow, followed by dinner at Verdi’s Catering Hall in Westbury. A variety of corporate and individual sponsorships are available with golf and/or dinner only packages. Visit www.careydadsclub.com for complete details and on-line registration. This event will begin with registration/ lunch at 12:30 p.m. and a 1:30 p.m. Shotgun Start, playing a scramble format. Dinner will follow immediately at Verdi’s. The cost is $195 per golfer; this includes lunch, 18 holes of golf, cart and dinner. Dinner-only tickets are also available for $60 and include grand buffet, carving stations, open bar, dessert, live music and plenty of prizes and raffles.

The Carey Dads’ Club is a not-for-profit organization, which functions as a non-sectarian group focusing on enriching the lives of students in the Franklin Square and H. Frank Carey High School community. It is their mission to unify and strengthen the partnership between the faculty, administration, parents, and students to enhance academic and athletic programs. They engage in fund-raising activities that result in scholarships and awards to students and community members for their efforts in academic, athletic, club, and community activities.
