Songs My Father Loved: A Tribute to the Great Italian-American Singers

Hofstra graduate John Leone, who spent three years on Broadway as Nick Massi in Jersey Boys, returns to his alma mater to perform a tribute to renowned Italian-American crooners, Saturday, Sept. 26, 8 p.m. This concert celebrates the finest voices of the ’40s, ’50s, and ’60s. Artists saluted during this special performance include Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin, Vic Damone, Jerry Vale, Julius LaRosa. and many others. Tickets are $19, $17 seniors and students, $10 children under 12. Hofstra University’s Monroe Lecture Center Theater, California Ave., South Campus, Hempstead.
