The Girl Scouts of West Hempstead and Franklin Square hosted their second annual Big Backyard Sale last week at Rath Park in Franklin Square to benefit individual troops and their local community service projects.
Hundreds of people showed up throughout the day to rummage through various items and crafts.
The first 100 people to purchase items, including bake-sale items, received a free eco-friendly gift.
