Overcast Kiwanis Club street fair connects residents, businesses

Community members were welcome to browse through vendors at the Franklin Square Kiwanis Club Street Fair on Oct. 7.
Vendors displayed their services, such as toy sales, baked goods, clothes, mortgage information and more. Tents lined Franklin Avenue at Hempstead Turnpike for residents to check out different businesses.
The event was free for all, and supplied food trucks as well as live entertainment. The fair was not without fall favorites, as businesses like Creations by Danny offered pumpkins for fair goers to browse.
Kids were welcome to use the bounce house and slide supplied at the street fair for the day of fun.
