Overcast Pennies for Patients wraps up at Clara H. Carlson

Clara H. Carlson students in Josephine DeNicola’s and Elissa Racioppo’s classes enjoyed a pizza party on May 18 in recognition of their classes’ donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients drive.
The school participated in the fundraising campaign earlier this year, raising $4,443.93 for the organization. DeNicola’s and Racioppo’s classes tied in their donation efforts, with each class raising $475 for the drive. Their classes’ donations were the highest in the school building, which earned them each a pizza party supplied by the organization.
