Police investigate public lewdness in Elmont

Nassau police are investigating a public lewdness incident that occurred on Dec. 5 at 7:48 a.m. in Elmont.

A 15-year-old girl walked north on 240th Street towards Elmont High School Tuesday morning, according to police. She was walking behind an unidentified black man near 117th Road when he turned around and began performing a lewd act. The student then walked away in the opposite direction and called police. No injuries were reported.

The man is described to be black, 5’10,” wearing a black coat, black boots and blue jeans.
