Football is a sport played in just about any type of weather so despite the rain, the Homecoming festivities still went on as planned at Valley Stream North High School last Saturday.
Each class displayed their banners in the parade around the school that morning. Marchers included the school’s athletes and cheerleaders, and the Homecoming court. That afternoon, supporters of the Spartans gathered at the football field in their green and white to watch North defeat East Rockaway, 35-12.
