Teams get ready for the first competition during the For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology Tech Challenge Qualifier at Sewanhaka High School.
The students on teams of 10 or more designed, built and programmed their own robots to compete in 2024’s challenge CENTERSTAGE! Presented by RTX. The teams explored science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts through a challenging arts-infused game.
By succeeding at this qualifier event on Jan. 13 and Jan. 14, teams can advance to For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology Long Island Championship in March.
