Hofstra Opera Theater takes to the stage this weekend with Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus. Revel in luxurious old world Vienna while enjoying the romance of this charming opera. Die Fledermaus may be the best-loved work from the Golden Age of Viennese opera. Everything old is new again with love affairs, betrayal, deception, and a battle of the sexes, and a classic hum-worthy score.

Jungle Jack Hanna
Everyone’s favorite zookeeper, Jack Hanna, brings a menagerie of animals to Tilles Center’s stage. America knows Hanna from his countless television appearances since 1983. The unscripted and action-packed live show features Hanna and his family exploring the globe and discovering amazing animals and cultures. Hanna’s show includes many of his favorite animal friends, as well as fascinating stories and footage from his adventures around the world.

Tree Tales
The Puschcart Players present Cuentos Del Árbol (Tree Tales) a fiesta of musical theater for audiences of all ages. Four charming Spanish folk tales will enthrall young theatergoers. The program includes The Garden of Golden Oranges and Brothers Who Were Both Wise and Foolish; Juan Bobo or Silly John from Puerto Rico; and Caperucita Roja, or Red Riding Hood, told with a Latin rhythm.
