As traditional as it gets

Each hibachi dinner comes with onion soup, salad with ginger dressing, shrimp appetizer, rice, vegetables, and three dipping sauces. Depending on the package (Feast, Combination or Chef Tasting) it might include dessert or more starters. Prices range from $19.95 to $41.95. Children’s are $13.95, and toddlers’, $10. Wild caught shrimp are plump, and Black Angus Steak can be up-graded to filet mignon. Chilean sea bass with Enoki mushrooms was poached in foil and then flash grilled…highly recommended. We enjoyed the Matsu dinner – cold marinated chicken wings, shrimp and vegetable tempura, grilled onions, zucchini, bean sprouts, mushrooms, asparagus, filet mignon, rock lobster tail, and rice. Eight flavors of ice cream, as well as a fried version, are among the desserts.

Hours are Monday through Thursday 5 to 9:30 p.m., Friday 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday 5 to 10 p.m., and Sunday 4 to 9 p.m. Reservations are advised. Parties up to 70 during the day can be arranged. A private hibachi room seats 36 people.
