Students at New Visions Elementary School tested their knowledge of bus safety by completing their workbooks following a presentation on school bus safety by BusPatrol.

Student safety is the highest priority for the Freeport School District. Students can never be reminded often enough about the important lessons regarding the safety protocols for crossing the street and riding on school buses.
Students at New Visions Elementary School participated in a special safety presentation by BusPatrol designed to emphasize the proper ways to cross the street, enter and exit a school bus and the appropriate behavior when riding to and from school.
After listening to the presentation and watching a video, the students were given safety workbooks to share at home and they also received certificates recognizing they had successfully completed the safety program workshop.
