Though there was a chill in the air, the sun was shining strong and the weather was beautiful for the annual window painting event, sponsored by the Oceanside Department of Community Activities.

The annual event allows children from the community to come out and do what they normally can’t do at home — draw on the walls. Kids, either working alone or in a group, are given a paper-covered window to decorate in whatever Halloween-theme they want.
