Magnano meets with red cross

McGovern, President and CEO of the American Red Cross; Kevin Law, Long Island Association; John Miller, CEO of the Long Island Red Cross; Josh Lockwood, CEO of the Greater New York Region of the Red Cross; and Jeanne and Tom Gargiulo, Babylon Village residents who lost their home in Hurricane Sandy and who have become Red Cross volunteers.

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano attended a meeting at the Red Cross of Long Island at their headquarters Mineola, where he discussed the Red Cross’ Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts.

Four months after the storm, the American Red Cross is continuing to help residents with food, emotional support and long-term assistance.
