The Oceanside Summer Gazebo Readings celebrated Independence Day in its annual fashion — with patriotic readings by representatives and members of the community, along with a good ol’ fashioned barbecue.
Around 100 residents came out to the Schoolhouse Green on July 5 (a day after the usual Monday night readings) to hear readings from the Declaration of Independence along with the works of Mark Twain, Abraham Lincoln and more.
