After 30 years of manufacturing custom kitchens, vanities, wall units, hotel furniture and other mass-customization projects, the Cacciatore family has evolved to open The Rustic Loft. Following a new, popular trend, they now design and manufacture rustic, distressed, industrial and farmhouse-inspired furniture.
Consumers can purchase high quality pieces that can be totally customized to fit their dream look. They can view the product they’ve chosen in a new showroom, and then mix and match parts, finishes and materials before it is manufactured. Also available are other furniture lines from various parts of the country.
“Our beautiful pieces offer consumers the ability to bring the natural, traditional and timeless essence of the solid wood look into their homes,” Leo Cacciatore said. “Years of experience allow us the know-how to choose top manufacturers and create high quality, which we pass on to our customers.”
Cacciatore grew up in East Rockaway, lives in Lynbrook and is a volunteer emergency medical technician for Emergency Medical Company No. 1 of the Lynbrook Fire Department. His sister, Maria Greco, is a multimedia expert who spearheads the marketing strategies, from social media marketing and print design, to video commercial productions. She also assists customers at the store. Having grown up as the children of a master craftsman, Leo and Maria were not only inspired, but educated to be creative and to understand the value of superior and quality work.
Manufacturing at The Rustic Loft targets detail — like ensuring that all dowels are properly glued and screwed, or applying a thick polyurethane finish so that each piece can withstand wear and tear. No need to worry about accidental spills or wobbly chairs. And, vendors they work with are held to the same high standards.
Customers can choose the finish and style of a variety of pieces they feature in the showroom. “We’ve always had a passion for designing and manufacturing cutting edge designs that serve not only to beautify a space, but to provide a quality, solid and functional piece that will last a lifetime,” Cacciatore said. “Our product line is manufactured right here on Long Island, and envisioned with the aesthetic and functionality needs of our customers in mind.”
The Rustic Loft showroom offers a plethora of options including dining sets, consoles, kitchen islands, barn doors, rustic lighting — a line of customizable reclaimed wood furniture made in the USA from oak barns and more. Customers have the unique ability to customize different aspects of the products — such as a specific base, accent, color or style.
Showroom hours are Tuesday through Friday 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. They are closed on Monday. Visit their website — www.therusticloftli.com — for beautiful photos and videos.
