The Island Park Civic Association collected about 200 stuffed bunnies at the Local Ale House in Island Park last month for its “Hug A Bunny” drive.
They dropped off the bunnies for pediatric patients at Winthrop University Hospital and South Nassau Communities Hospital, giving much joy to children who need it the most.
This is the second year the Civic Association has done its bunny drive.
