Thomas Cesiro III
The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce is proud to honor Thomas Cesiro III as this year’s Citizen of the Year. For years, Tom has been involved in many community organizations including Kiwanis, Oceanside Community Service and the Oceanside Fire Dept. We are proud to honor him for his many years of service to our community.

Youth Award:
Blake Smith
Blake Smith, an Oceanside High School senior, is our Outstanding Youth of the Year. Blake took fourth place in the prestigious Siemens Competition in Math, Science and Technology for his research in cancer biology. He is a highly motivated young man, involved in many high school events and activities.

Business of the Year: Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union
Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union has been named Business of the Year. For years, it has supported many organizations in Oceanside including the Kiwanis, the Chamber of Commerce and South Nassau Communities Hospital. We are very grateful for their community involvement and support.

The Oceanside Chamber of Commerce recently named its 2012 Person of the Year, Business of the Year and its Youth Award. The three will be honored at the Chamber’s Installation Dinner Dance on Feb. 25 at Kombert Caterers at Temple Avodah, 3050 Oceanside Road. Tickets are still available, and are $85 per person.
