Is your friend the Mother Teresa of the neighborhood? Did your pastor organize a food drive to help people in the community?

The Herald is looking to find the most outstanding people in the communities we serve for our Person of the Year Awards, and we want you to help us.

Please nominate friends and neighbors you think could be our Person of the Year. Your nominee should be someone who made a real difference in the community, this year and in years past. It could be someone you know very well, or a stranger you met just once. The only requirement is that they live in the community and that they have made a difference in the lives of the people in Oceanside and Island Park this year.
