Skelos brings child ID program to Island Park

Posted

Senator Dean Skelos visited the Island Park public library on Jan. 29 for a free child ID program. The program is available to Nassau County children of all ages. Local children received the KidPix I.D. card. It includes the child’s personal contact information and photo. It lists child’s date of birth, age, gender, eye and hair color and issue date of card, plus it has the child’s fingerprint image on back of card. The card is helpful to police, fire or ambulance responders in an emergency situation. There is no charge for the KidPix I.D. card and no appointments are necessary.
