Symmetry at Hegarty

Lisa Roberts-Vides's fourth graders at Francis X. Hegarty School learned about symmetry and its application in designing everything from clothes to homes to automobiles. This lesson focused on identifying the different types of shapes and their applications in symmetric design particularly hexagons, polygons, octagons, heptagons, and pentagons.
