Trump wins!

Donald Trump will be the next president of the United States. A Republican Senate and House of Representatives will join him in Washington, D.C.

Just before 3 a.m., Hillary Clinton called Trump to congratulate him, and he said he congratulated her on a very, very hard fought campaign.

Anthony D’Esposito keeps the fourth district Hempstead Town Council seat he was appointed to fill when Anthony Santino vacated it to become supervisor.

Incumbent Democratic Senator Charles Schumer will return to office, and Democrat Kathleen Rice retained her seat in Congress.

Democrat Todd Kaminsky won the ninth New York Senatorial District.

Conservative Republican Melissa Miller is the new 20th District Assemblyman, while Conservative Republican Brian Curran returns to office in the 21st Assembly District.

Joseph Lorintz and Edmund Dane will be justices on the New York State Supreme Court.

Helen Voutsinas and Eileen Goggin won the Nassau County Court in the second district.

Ellen Greenberg, Conrad Singer, Ayesha Keri Brantley and Stacy Bennett will sit on the Nassau County Family Court.
