Former New York Jets Wesley Walker and Emerson Boozer flew into Island Park last weekend to help promote a limited release wine — Jets Uncorked.
The tasting and signing hosted at Pop's Wine and Spirits was part of a fundraiser for the Long Island Crisis Center, the only 24-hour crisis hotline on Long Island.
Pop's was one of only a handful of places across the country chosen to host the signing and tasting.
And for any interested oenophiles, the wine is a 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon.
