Petty said that, last year, many people complimented the AOH for making the event more family-oriented. And this year in particular, he added, attendees need to be respectful of West End residents, many of whom are still displaced.
“The Irish Parade and festival should be inclusive for everyone, for parents and children,” he said, “and we plan on having it the same way this year.”
