Overcast Flooding reported in low-lying areas of Long Beach during Henri

Long Beach officials were reporting flooding in low-lying areas of the city as of Sunday morning, but roads remained passable as Tropical Storm Henri swirled across Nassau County.
The city had not declared a state of emergency.
On Saturday afternoon, city workers had joined volunteers in handing out sandbags to residents who feared that their homes might be flooded, reported John McNally, the city's spokesman.
