Long Beach police and firefighters rushed to the scene of a three-car collision on West Park Avenue Monday night.

Lt. Eric Cregeen, a spokesman for the Police Department, said the incident occurred at 6:38 p.m. when a vehicle traveling at a high speed crashed into the rear of another vehicle near Wyoming Avenue and caused it to strike a parked car at 911 W. Park Ave.

Police arrested Branden Louis Florio, who was driving with two passengers, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and operating a motor vehicle combined drugs and alcohol.

The operator of the second vehicle, who had a passenger in the car, was issued a summons for a suspended license, Cregeen said.

He added that firefighters treated one passenger for a head injury. No other injuries were reported.
