Kids will also enjoy the pre-show activities, including the Animal Open House, where everyone can step onto the arena floor and meet some of the animals and performers.

Outdoor Adventures

Nature Walk
Hike Muttontown Preserve from “End to End” on a guided walk through some the Preserve’s 550 acres of fields, woodlands, ponds and estate grounds. The five to six mile hike is probably the most vigorous of the preserve’s monthly hikes. It includes trails in the lower portion of the Preserve that are seldom visited by the public. The hike will take in ponds, fresh-water marshland and open fields, as well as the grounds around Nassau Hall. Look for the birds that make their home in the preserve.
Sunday, March 20, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Enrollment is limited and registration is required. $5 fee. Bill Paterson Nature Center, Muttontown Preserve, Muttontown La., East Norwich. (516) 571-8500.
