Overcast and Breezy Roads closed on West Park Avenue

The Long Beach Police Department shut down two blocks of Park Avenue on Monday due to downed power lines.
A spokesman for the LBPD said both the east and westbound lanes of West Park Avenue were closed around 9 a.m., between Arizona and Delaware avenues. Police said the road was shut down after a construction crew operating a crane damaged cable lines on the block.
A police spokesman said that the cable company had been alerted to the situation and responded to the scene to make repairs. The road reopened this afternoon.
