Senior Councilman Santino to hold Town Hall Meeting for Oceanside/Island Park

Hempstead Senior Town Councilman Anthony J. Santino will bring Town Hall to the Oceanside/Island Park communities when he hosts a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, May 11 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Oceanside Middle School, which is located at 186 Alice Avenue in Oceanside.

"Input from residents is absolutely necessary in maintaining an effective representative government," said Councilman Santino. "We must keep communication flowing between the town government and its citizens. It points us in the right direction for serving the needs of the community. I look forward to a large turnout of Oceanside and Island Park residents."

Representatives from many Town of Hempstead departments will be on hand at the meeting to discuss any issues concerning Oceanside or Island Park residents.

"Past town hall meetings have been the genesis of many improvements in the Oceanside and Island Park communities, including park upgrades, downtown beautification projects and local clean-up projects. I encourage all Oceanside and Island Park residents to attend the meeting to hear updates on current projects and issues, as well as to address any concerns they may have."
