Thousands turned out for this year’s Arts & Crafts Festival in Long Beach, which ran from July 13-15. The event kicked off on Friday night before the city’s annual fireworks show and the 8 p.m. Killer Joe concert on Long Beach Boulevard beach.

On Saturday and Sunday, hundreds of vendors selling everything from food and drinks to jewelry and apparel, lined up along the boardwalk for the festival, an annual event that city officials say attracts more than 20,000 people.

“It was packed,” said city spokesman Gordon Tepper. “It was larger this year — we had more food and craft vendors.”
