Two injured in car crash

At least two vehicles were involved in an accident at Long Beach Boulevard and Park Avenue Friday morning.

A multiple vehicle accident occurred on Friday morning at Long Beach Boulevard and Park Avenue near the movie theater. According to Long Beach Fire Chief Rich Corbett, two drivers sustained injuries and were transported to South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside. One suffered a facial laceration and the other complained of back pain, Corbett said. Long Beach Police responded to the scene.
