Lynbrook's Marie Lockwood celebrates 100!

Marie Lockwood: A crafty lady

Marie Lockwood grew up in Greenwich Village in New York City. She worked as a salesgirl at Macy’s in NYC and as a housewife. She her husband of 37 years, Ted, now deceased, raised two children, Judy and Theodore in New Hyde Park. She also has five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. 

Now, Marie is very active living at Atria Tanglewood in Lynbrook, New York. She enjoys exercise classes, music, reading, going on bus trips, and most of all, arts and crafts! She celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends at Atria Tanglewood. She was a sales girl in Macy’s, and a housewife.

Marie’s daughter Judy Hopf and son in law Carl Hopf are in the picture with her.
