Village hosts annual holiday tradition with tree lighting, craft making

The Village of East Rockaway held its annual tree lighting and holiday festival recently on the grounds of Village Hall on Atlantic Avenue.
Families gathered to listen to the holiday songs presented on the stage by the students; the lighting of the tree, and a visit from Santa Claus himself!
After the outdoor festivities, children were able to have a one-on-one with Santa, drink some hot chocolate, and create beautiful holiday crafts in the Senior Center, thanks to the East Rockaway Recreation Department.
