East Rockaway High School hosted its annual “Broadway on the Bay’ extravaganza on Friday, May 21 at 7 p.m. Current and former students, teachers and parents performed classics from Broadway theater.
The Junior Chorus began the evening's performances with a medley from “Mary Poppins.” The Senior Chorus performed a medley from "Rent." There were also several lively instrumental numbers this year.
The grand finale featured the combined talents of the senior band, orchestra and chorus performing a medley of Richards Rodgers standards.
All concert proceeds will go to the East Rockaway Music & Art Scholarship Fund.
