Daly chosen as one of the Golden Eleven

Lynbrook High School Senior Connor Daly who was one of the National Football Foundation Golden Eleven recipients for Nassau County.

  “Of the more than 1,500 students who participate in scholastic football in the county, Connor was chosen as a Scholar Athlete representing his school,” said the foundation’s president, Leonard Genova. “From that group, we further delineate our Golden Eleven members who truly represent the best and brightest the county has to offer.”

  A two-year starter as a middle linebacker and a first time All-County selection, Connor lead his team in tackles averaging eight per game. This year he was key to helping the Owls defense only allow 11 points per game.
